“Wood and metal create a creature suspended between biology and technology”
Alien
Alien appears to come from a place where the boundaries between nature and technology have disappeared. Its presence is dominated by a massive dark head built from layers of distorted metal sheets, oxidized surfaces and reclaimed industrial components. At the center emerges a striking yellow-green eye, immediately drawing attention and giving the creature an almost conscious presence.
The body creates a constant dialogue between contrasting materials. Sea-weathered wood runs through the composition as an organic structure that survived time and the elements, while grids, plates, metal mesh and mechanical fragments surround it. Every component retains traces of its previous existence while contributing to a completely new organism.
The tail is particularly distinctive, composed of overlapping metallic elements that resemble a crystalline or technological structure. Sharp fins and irregular surfaces reinforce the feeling of encountering an unknown species suspended between biology and machinery.
Through creative recycling, discarded materials are transformed into a presence that challenges traditional categories. It is neither entirely fish nor entirely machine. Instead, it becomes an imaginary creature that invites reflection on how matter can evolve beyond its original purpose.
Alien brings mystery, imagination and transformation into a space, creating an artwork that continuously rewards observation and curiosity.
